【摘要】:Thecomparativemethodofmeasurementofthermalconductivityisespeciallyusefulforengineeringmaterialsincludingceramics,polymers,metalsandalloys,refractories,carbons,andgraphitesincludingcombinationsandothercompositeformsofeach.Properdesignofaguarded-longitudinalsystemisdifficultanditisnotpracticalinamethodofthistypetotrytoestablishdetailsofconstructionandprocedurestocoverallcontingenciesthatmightofferdifficultiestoapersonwithouttechnicalknowledgeconcerningtheoryofheatflow,temperaturemeasurements,andgeneraltestingpractices.Standardizationofthistestmethodisnotintendedtorestrictinanywaythefuturedevelopmentbyresearchworkersofnewormethodsorimprovedprocedures.However,neworimprovedtechniquesmustbethoroughlytested.RequirementsforqualifyinganapparatusareoutlinedinSection10.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesasteadystatetechniqueforthedeterminationofthethermalconductivity,,ofhomogeneous-opaquesolids(seeNote1andNote2).Thistestmethodisformaterialswitheffectivethermalconductivitiesintheapproximaterange0.2200W/(mK)overtheapproximatetemperaturerangebetween90and1300K.Itcanbeusedoutsidetheserangeswithdecreasedaccuracy.Note0Forpurposesofthistechnique,asystemishomogeneousiftheapparentthermalconductivityofthespecimen,A,doesnotvarywithchangesofthicknessorcross-sectionalareabymorethan5%.Forcompositesorheterogeneoussystemsconsistingofslabsorplatesbondedtogether,thespecimenshouldbemorethan20unitswideand20unitsthick,respectively,whereaunitisthethicknessofthethickestslaborplate,sothatdiameterorlengthchangesofone-halfunitwillaffecttheapparentAbylessthan5%.Forsystemsthatarenon-opaqueorpartiallytransparentintheinfrared,thecombinederrorduetoinhomogeneityandphotontransmissionshouldbelessthan5%.Measurementsonhighlytransparentsolidsmustbeaccompaniedwithinfraredabsorptioncoefficientinformation,ortheresultsmustbereportedasapparentthermalconductivity,A.Note2Thistestmethodmayalsobeusedtoevaluatethecontactthermalconductance/resistanceofmaterials.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
