【摘要】:ThispartofISO13885isoneofaseriesofstandardsdealingwiththesamplingandtestingofpaints,varnishesandrelatedproducts.Itdescribesconditionsforthedeterminationofthemolecular-massdistribution,number-averagemolecularmassMnandmass-averagemolecularmassMwofpolymersthataresolubleinTHF(tetrahydrofuran)bygelpermeationchromatography(GPC).Itispossiblethat,inspiteofthegoodrepeatabilityobtainedwiththismethod,itcannotbeusedwithcertainpolymertypesbecauseofspecificinteractions,suchasadsorptionwithinthesample/eluent/columnsystem.Themethodisnotanabsoluteoneandrequirescalibrationwithcommerciallyavailableunbranched-polystyrenestandardsthathavebeencharacterizedbyabsolutemethods.Theresultsforsamplesofpolymersotherthanpolystyrenearethereforeonlycomparablewithingroupsofsamplesofthesametype.TheconditionsspecifiedinthispartofISO13885arenotsuitablefortheGPCanalysisofpolymersampleswithMwvaluesgreaterthan10(seeannexA).Nocorrectionmethods,e.g.fortheeliminationofpeakbroadening,areincludedinthispartofISO13885.Ifabsolutemolecular-massvaluesarerequired,anabsolutemethod,e.g.membraneosmometryforMnorlightscatteringforMw,mustbeused.note:1)Alsoknownassizeexclusionchromatography(SEC).
