【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusefulindeterminingifthelossofcolorduetolightexposureissatisfactoryfortheintendedend-use.Thistestmethodisconsideredsatisfactoryforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsbecausethemethodhasbeenusedextensivelyinthetradeforacceptancetesting.Iftherearedifferencesofpracticalsignificancebetweenreportedtestresultsfortwolaboratories(ormore),comparativetestsshouldbeperformedtodetermineiftheirisastatisticalbiasbetweenthem,usingcompetentstatisticalassistance.Asaminimum,thetestsamplesshouldbeusedthatareashomogeneousaspossible,thataredrawnfromthematerialfromwhichthedisparatetestresultswereobtained,andthatarerandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.Othermaterialswithestablishedtestvaluesmaybeusedforthispurpose.Thetestresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingastatisticaltestforunpaireddata,ataprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orfuturetestresultsmustbeadjustedinconsiderationoftheknownbias.Thetestmethod(s)inthisstandardalongwiththoseinTestMethodsD2051,D2052,D2054,D2057,D2058,D2059,D2060,D2061,andD2062areacollectionofprovenzippertestmethods.Theycanbeusedasaidsintheevaluationofzipperswithouttheneedforathoroughknowledgeofzippers.Theenumeratedtestmethodsdonotprovidefortheevaluationofallzipperproperties.Besidesthosepropertiesmeasuredbymeansoftheenumeratedtestmethodsthereareotherpropertiesthatmaybeimportantforthesatisfactoryperformanceofazipper.Testmethodsformeasuringthosepropertieshavenotbeenpublishedeitherbecausenopracticalmethodshaveyetbeendevelopedorbecauseavalidevaluationoftheinformationresultingfromexistingunpublishedmethodsrequiresanintimateandthoroughknowledgeofzippers.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthealterationinshadeofthetextileportionofzipperswhenexposedtolight,regardlessofthematerialsofmanufacture.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasthestandard.Withinthetext,theinch-poundunitsareshowninparentheses.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththistestmethod.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
