【摘要】:FIMSisauserinterfacemanagementsystemstandardbasedontheconceptofaform.FIMSisdesignedtolayerontopofdevicetoolkits,providingaddedvalueintheareasof:recordorienteddatatransfer,dialogmanagement(includingvalidationandconditionalnavigation),efficientdistributioninanetwork,anddeviceindependenceforapplicationprograms.ItisappropriateforPCs,workstations,characterterminals,blockmodeterminals,andhighqualityprinters.AFIMSformcanserveasamainprogram,asasubroutine,orboth.Whenitservesasamainprogram,theformcollectsinformationandcallsanapplicationprogramasasubroutine.whenaFIMSformservesasasubroutine,theapplicationprogrammakescallstotheform;therearesevensuchrequesttypesandtheApplicationProgramInterfacesforthoserequestsarespecifiedinthestandard.
