【摘要】:Theenergyinputratetestisusedtoconfirmthattheconveyortoasterisoperatingproperlypriortofurthertesting.Preheatenergyandtimecanbeusefultofoodserviceoperatorstomanagepowerdemandsandtoknowhowquicklytheconveyortoastercanbereadyforoperation.Idleenergyrateandpilotenergyratecanbeusedtoestimateenergyconsumptionduringnon-cookingperiods.Inaddition,apowersavingmode(ifapplicable)willdemonstrateenergysavingsduringidleperiods.Productioncapacityinformationcanhelpanendusertobetterunderstandtheproductioncapabilitiesofaconveyortoasterasitisusedtocookatypicalfoodproductandthiscouldhelpinspecifyingthepropersizeandquantityofequipment.Ifproductioninformationisdesiredusingafoodproductotherthanthespecifiedtestfood,thetestmethodcouldbeadaptedandapplied.1.1Thistestmethodevaluatestheenergyconsumptionandcookingperformanceofconveyortoasters.Thefoodserviceoperatorcanusethisevaluationtoselectaconveyortoasterandunderstanditsenergyconsumption.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletogasandelectricconveyortoasters.1.3Theconveyortoastercanbeevaluatedwithrespecttothefollowing(whereapplicable):1.3.1Energyinputrateandpreheattemperatureprofile(10.2),1.3.2Preheatenergyconsumptionandtime(10.3),1.3.3Idleenergyrate(10.4),1.3.4Pilotenergyrate(ifapplicable,10.5),1.3.5Cookingenergyrate(10.8),and1.3.6Productioncapacity(10.8).1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.TheSIunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thistestmethodmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
